To participate in MOQC, a practice must:

  • Register as a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM)-Physician Group Incentive Program (PGIP) practice
  • Provide medical oncology and/or gynecology oncology services
  • Predominantly serve an adult population, age 18 years and older
  • Sign and maintain a Participation Agreement with the MOQC Coordinating Center
  • Submit data, as defined by MOQC, into MOQCLink
  • Participate in a data abstraction quality audit or oversight program defined by MOQC
  • Identify a physician to lead quality improvement efforts in the Physician Champion role
  • Identify an Administrative Lead/Practice Manager to provide administrative and operational support for Quality Initiative (QI) projects in the Administrative Champion role
  • Have an active Quality Committee or Group – for small or established practices, the regional meetings can serve this purpose
  • Collaborate and communicate with the MOQC Coordinating Center
  • Collaborate with other participating practices through the MOQC regional structure
  • Attend regional and biannual meetings
